WBUR is publicly launching our first-ever Comprehensive Campaign. Our goal is to raise $125 million to ensure that WBUR is in fighting shape today and here for the next generation — making a meaningful difference for our community.
This is a pivotal moment.
The forces against WBUR are mounting: the loss of federal funding, daily affronts to the First Amendment, the spread of fake news, and the rise of AI — reshaping how we discover information.
The list gets longer every day. But we’re not deterred. At a time when others are being forced to pull back, we’re expanding what public media can look like. We have the heart and the mindset of a start up. We’ve made innovation a response to pressure, not a luxury reserved for easier times.
And our answer to the threats is simple. We build things our community wants. First-class journalism. Original. Revelatory. Deep. Coverage that helps millions of people better grasp what's unfolding locally, nationally and around the world. And live experiences that bring people together.
